The Challenge
The client needed a custom web application to replace the manual, time-consuming process of managing a yearly two-series bass fishing tournament. They needed a single platform where members could purchase memberships, register for tournaments, and where admins could manage users, oversee registrations, and handle logistics like boat launch randomization.
The Solution
I designed and built a full-stack web application with a member-facing frontend and a secure admin dashboard. Members can create accounts, purchase memberships via Stripe, and register for tournaments online. Admins have a dedicated portal to manage users, control tournament registrations, and run an automated boat launch randomization system. The entire platform is backed by Supabase for authentication, real-time data, and database management.
The Outcome
The client went from managing everything manually to having a purpose-built platform that handles the full tournament lifecycle. Administrative overhead was significantly reduced, and members now have a seamless self-service experience from sign-up to tournament day.
